10. Managing front of house at Art Fairs

Back to step 9. Managing bookings and guest-lists at art fairs

ARTSVP makes handling FOH easy for art fairs. ARTSVP has been built to work on iPads and mobile phones to make checking in guests quick and easy.

View all bookings in a single place

When events have been grouped in a collection it is possible to search for bookings across all attendees of the fair. This saves time looking for individuals across multiple separate lists. Bookings are laid out by date and time in a guest lists format that is designed to be easy to use for even temp staff with minimal training.

ARTSVP provides all clients with a short training video to distribute to FOH teams before the fair starts to help them familiarise themselves with the system.

Check in with just a tap

For many art fairs just having a list of names is often the simplest way to track attendance and make sure someone is on the list. By using search you can quickly find a booking and in a single click check the guest in.

If you want to partially check in a booking (if one one person from of the booking has arrived) this can be done by clicking on the booking and checking in the exact number that have arrived.

Scanning QR code tickets directly from the guest-list

ARTSVP also can issue QR code tickets to any booking. This function can be turned on even after the fair has started selling tickets and the attendee can access the QR code from their booking confirmation or reminder email.

QR code scanning is done from the same guest-list view. Simply click the scan button to open the camera on the mobile device being used and if the ticket is present in the guest-list of the event or collection being viewed it will find the booking and allow for quick check in.
